GAVS team is as colourful and vibrant as the sector in Greenwich. Coming from very different backgrounds the GAVS staff is working together to provide services that support the delivery and development of all voluntary, community and faith organisations and to support and develop the voice of the sector.
Idris Sapateh works as GAVS part time Finance and Admin Officer and has been working for the Community Accountancy Project since 2006 as Administrative Assistant.
His role is a varied one which centres around GAVS accounting policies and keeping all GAVS financial transactions in check. Idris also supports voluntary groups through the GAVS Community Accountancy Project by supporting the Community Accountant, especially preparing training materials and generally supporting community groups with financial management and good practice.
