GAVS team is as colourful and vibrant as the sector in Greenwich. Coming from very different backgrounds the GAVS staff is working together to provide services that support the delivery and development of all voluntary, community and faith organisations and to support and develop the voice of the sector.
Jo Deverson has worked in the voluntary, community and charity sector for 13 years, both in the UK and overseas in Africa and Asia. She provided organisational, programme development and funding advice to small grassroots organisations, as well as to larger international charities, working on issues including human rights, refugees, disability, post-conflict, governance and HIV&AIDS.
Jo is delighted to be back home in SE London and working with the sector in Greenwich. As a GAVS Development Officer she is focusing on providing support to BME groups, environmental groups and local community associations.
