GAVS team is as colourful and vibrant as the sector in Greenwich. Coming from very different backgrounds the GAVS staff is working together to provide services that support the delivery and development of all voluntary, community and faith organisations and to support and develop the voice of the sector.
Laura has extensive experience in the disability and independent living field, including working as development officer with a national user-led charity, where she championed access to independent living for marginalised groups, and as a freelance consultant & trainer.
Laura’s post of Voice and Information Officer is funded by Trust for London up to the end of September 2013. Her role focusses on supporting voluntary and community sector representation on strategic partnerships, together with a responsibility for GAVS’ marketing and communications strategy.
