Are you a voluntary, community or faith group that works with black, Asian, and other minority and ethnic groups in the Greenwich borough? If yes, then come along to the BME Forum!

The BME Forum is the only voluntary sector led forum in Greenwich, for groups to hear and discuss the latest issues and concerns specific to BME communities. The Forum provides an opportunity to network with other BME groups and provides a vehicle for the BME community in Greenwich to lobby and feedback their views to policy and decision-makers.

BME Parents workshops: 8^th Feb and 21^st Mar, both 10am-1pm. GAVS and the BME Forum, in partnership with Greenwich Council’s Children and Families Team, are holding two more workshops for organisations that work with BME parents. 8^th Feb will focus on parenting for 5-13yr olds, 21^st Mar parenting for 13-19yr olds. The workshop will look at issues particularly relevant for BME parents and how organisations can provide better support and information to BME parents. Free, but places are limited, so please book a place by contacting Jo.deverson@gavs.biz (020 8858 1363) at GAVS. Venue: Clockhouse Community Centre.
