Health & Well-Being – Adults and Older People
Does your group provide Health, Social Care and Well-Being services and activities for adults and older people in Greenwich? Are you a tenants or residents association, or does your group’s remit include working on health and well-being issues, for example any work with older people, people with disabilities, work around sexuality, or physical activity and sports?
If so, your group has access to a range of support from GAVS including:
The Development Officer is the Voluntary and Community Organisations representative on the Safeguarding Adults Multi Agency Group in Greenwich. This high level strategic partnership oversees and supports the effectiveness of arrangements to safeguard adults at risk within individual agencies and across the partnership.
Health and Well-Being is a broad term in a fast changing environment and there can be cross over at times with other service provision in GAVS. This is managed in conjunction with GAVS’ Development team.
