What do equality and the Equality Act mean for service delivery in your organisation?

This session will explore why thinking about equality is important for the delivery of your services. It will explain what the Equality Act 2010 and its provisions mean for service delivery by voluntary organisations and community groups and how it can be used to make a case for special provisions that improve accessibility and inclusion. It will also tell you how public sector bodies can be held to account on equality issues.

This session is being delivered in partnership with the HEAR Human Rights and Equalities Network as part of the London for All Partnership funded by London Councils. Participants must be from voluntary organisations or community groups and not public sector staff as our funding is for support to the voluntary sector.
