METRO GAVS is administering a small grants programme on behalf of the Greenwich Charitable Trust. GCT is an NHS Charitable Trust associated with South East London CCG. This year the programme will focus on the commissioning priorities for the RBG area:-

The deadline for applications is 9am on Monday 17th February 2020
Top tips for your application are set out below
- Check your budgets add up
- Concentrate your funding on health and social care
- Be clear how the funding will enhance an event/project if this is part of a bigger scheme
- Demonstrate clearly how you will work will meet the focus areas
- Don’t tick all the outcome boxes or focus areas; focus in on one or two outcomes/focus areas
- Seek support from a METRO GAVS Development officer. Please note these METRO GAVS’ staff members when supporting you will not pass on any information about this support or the contents of the bid to the METRO Director of Strategy(Naomi Goldberg) to ensure the integrity of the grants panel
- Make sure your management committee/board/trustees are aware of the bid and its contents
- Ask someone who hasn’t been closely involved in writing the bid to read the bid through before you send it off
- Be innovative
- Complete all sections of the form
- Be clear about how your application represents value for money
- Please make sure that the monitoring processes you decide to use are explained and in particular you show how the monitoring will show any improvements the project has made to users’ lives
